Glasgow Clyde College: Futures Edit

Eyes on Glasgow Clyde College Class of 2017.

HND Fashion Design & Manufacture students have produced an incredibly creative, and varied body of gorgeous work. Centered around the theme ‘reinvent’, which came following a denim donation from Oxfam in the West End of Glasgow. The project saw garment ideas come together in innovative ways, with fabric re-imagined with really interesting techniques. Their pieces where then featured in photo shoots and articles created through collaboration.Glasgow Clyde College You can also see the work of the Fashion Feature Writing & Styling evening course students. They focussed on research and developing a writing style for fashion feature articles. This year’s students worked to the theme ‘New Generation’. Putting together articles that featured upcoming trends, and the freshest designers. Among those featured are SR:D 2016 Exhibitor & Fashion Foundry resident, Rachel McMillan, alongside E.J.Cassidy; an Edinburgh-based designer who recently graduated from Heriot-Watt.

The articles and photo shoots produced by both courses each have a unique voice, strong imagery, and tells a clear story. At its heart, the Futures blog is a darned good read.
