Graduate Fashion Week 3rd – 6th June

Now in its 27th year, Graduate Fashion Week continues to bring the latest innovative and exciting emerging talent to the world’s attention with a four-day event in London on the 3rd – 6th June 2018. Supported by the likes of patrons Victoria Beckham, Christopher Bailey, Vivienne Westwood, Nick Knight and brands such as John Lewis, Clarks, M&S and Swarovski; new this year are the internationally renowned Diane Von Furstenberg and Nadja Swarovski as additional lifetime patrons and brands such as Ralph Lauren and Levi’s.

GDFS: Shorts with Citizen M

On October 23rd, Graphic Design Festival Scotland hosted a special series of short films in collaboration with film-duo Pretend Lovers. Encompassing the most gratifying components of graphic design was an inundation of eye-catching poster acting as a fitting backdrop to the cinema room. Showcasing a carefully-curated selection of short films produced by artists and filmmakers from across the world from Switzerland to Singapore, the clips concerned exquisite choreography, deadly voyages and cut-throat humour.

PaisleyMake: Festival of Creativity and Design in Paisley

Last week, we announced the launch of our brand new event, PaisleyMake. Created by ourselves and sponsored by Renfrewshire Council, PaisleyMake is a special collaboration taking the community on a journey of discovery and exploration. Building on renowned design and manufacturing skills, which made the town famous globally. PaisleyMake brings together makers from Scotland and around the world to meet and work with the community here in Paisley. The event takes place in around Paisley Abbey and Museum & Art Galleries, the four-day festival runs from Wednesday 31st August through till Saturday 3rd September.

Kestin Hare opens third store in princes square, glasgow

K E S T I N H A R E opened up his new store in Princes Square, Glasgow last Thursday. With Menabrea beers, Kiehls goodie-bags and an exclusive acoustic performance from Ross Leighton of Fatherson, the shop was filled to the brim with consumers, bloggers and media. Previous Head of Design at Nigel Cabourn, Kestin is now onto his third store, including the flagship store in Shoreditch, London and the original in Stockbridge, Edinburgh.
