Teatum Jones at London Fashion Week

We were lucky enough to be invited to Teatum Jones‘ AW17 show entitled, ‘The Body’. Opening London Fashion Week, the catwalk featured disabled models including BBC3’s Britain’s Missing Top Model winner Kelly Knox, born with the a missing lower left arm alongside other amputees.

The runway’s soundtrack opened with Massive Attack‘s teardrop and sounds bites from Meryl Streep’s Golden Globe speech with strong messages of self-love and rejecting the so-called ‘perfect body’ with snippets from British spoken word artist, Kate Tempest.

The collection of women and menswear included a selection of cashmere knits supplied by Hawick Knitwear, ribbed dresses and a strong play with textures and fastenings including a continued collaboration with the artist, Tom Leamon
