William Chambers for Royal Ascot Style Collective

With horse-racing season just around the corner, Fenwick of Bond Street have teamed up with Royal Ascot, funding a range of stunning head-pieces for the season carefully-curated by a team of eight British milliners.

‘Rose Bouquet’ was designed as part of Royal Ascot’s Millinery Collective by Glasgow-based milliner William Chambers. Chambers, who is known for his classically beautiful and elegant headpieces is part of the collective that aims to put the spotlight on both renowned and upcoming British milliners.

Chambers says, the design “mixes traditional and contemporary materials and motifs, making it the perfect Royal Ascot hat for the modern woman”.

“It features classic silk roses set against layers of crin, which create an out-of-focus geometric effect behind. The hat is inspired by his collection ‘Glass Gardens’ which followed a visit to the glass flowers exhibition in Boston, USA.”

Chambers has seen mentoring and long-term business support from SR:D, paving his way towards shows in Paris and London and in 2014, scooped our award in the accessories category. With second to none craftsmanship, Chambers fascinators and hats are stocked in some of the worlds most respected retailers including Harrods, Fenwick and Fortnum & Mason.

With prices starting from £195, drop-in to William Chamber’s store at The Italian Centre, Ingram Street, Glasgow.
