Caerlee Mills - Scottish Fashion
About Caerlee Mills

Based in rural Innerleithen, the Caerlee site is steeped in a rich history; being the first water powered mill ever established in the world renowned home of luxury; the Scottish Borders*. As well as its own label, the mill has produced fine, hand crafted Cashmere products for a number of international brands such as Chanel and Ballantyne over the years and regularly featured in magazines like Harpers and Vogue, alongside creating traditional Scottish knitwear.

Caerlee met Holly Fulton at the LONDON show ROOMS in Paris, March 2011, after visiting London Fashion Week in February 2011 and seeing Fulton’s stunning A/W 2011 ‘Kiss me Quick, Squeeze me Slow’ collection. The Caerlee for Holly Fulton collaboration launched at London Fashion Week in September 2011. Holly’s Autumn/Winter 2012 show debuted in February at London Fashion Week and again featured pieces created at the Caerlee Mill, which showed in New York’s SR:D.

The brand is sadly on hiatus as, despite huge efforts by the factory staff, friends and customers, the parent company went into administration.
