Kestin Hare

Kestin Hare

Kestin Hare is a British menswear brand produced by a designer who gets what works and is inspired by what men want for everyday life.

The brand was launched in 2014 by Kestin Hare when he returned to his hometown of Edinburgh. Kestin grew up watching his grandad who had a distinct style, took great pride in his appearance and ran pubs in Leith. This inspired his degree in Fashion Design BA Hons and Marketing, which then led him directly to the industry where he instantly felt at home.

Kestin carved out his 15 year career working for some of the biggest names, most notably holding the position of Head of Design at Nigel Cabourn. It was here, working on the Ascent of Cabourn collections, that Nigel honed Kestin’s passion for vintage, looking to the old to find something new, and instilled the importance of UK manufacturing.

Kestin has steadily created his signature look for Kestin Hare, and has continued to nurture his core values of vintage research, seeking out the most unique and technologically advanced fabrics, road testing every garment for fit and purpose, and is in constant conversation with his customers and the best of the industry.
