The annual Scottish showcase of fashion, accessories and interior design Scotland Re:Designed took place in Glasgow’s city centre St. Enoch Centre from Wednesday 9th through till Sunday 13th November.
The showcase featured a series of Open Forum Conversations with dynamic international architects, buyers & event producers, the award winning Showroom for trade, and a Pop-Up Shop for everyone all produced by SWG3, a Sara Hill Make-Up Masterclass, a Gallery of new Scottish photography talent by ScotStreetStyle Onward!, and an Invitation Only Runway Show & Awards presentation, which alongside Scotland’s latest hot designers featured international designers Teatum Jones, who’s S/S ’17 collection is inspired by Glasgow’s LGBT scene.
Exhibiting the best of Scottish design to an audience of media, buyers and design lovers, we have previously travelled to Paris, New York, Chicago and most recently Hong Kong to promote Scotland’s creatives.
With support from Creative Scotland together with EventScotland as part of the Year of Innovation, Architecture & Design 2016 (#IAD2016), SRD offers the showroom with mentoring and talks, which culminated in spectacular style with the Invitation Only annual runway show and awards presentation.
Panel discussion chaired by William Knight, Show Director at Clerkenwell Design Week & 100% Design including Ella Doran, Designer at Ella Doran Studio, Shashi Caan of SC Collective and Emily Murray, Founder/Editor at The Pink House.
